Fall Prevention Pitfalls During Staffing Variability: Strategies for Acute and Skilled Care

This webinar discussed recent trends in both acute and skilled care staffing and how staffing shortages or variability can impact patient outcomes, including falls and other adverse events. Strategies to endure staffing challenges and sustain efforts to prevent falls were reviewed, incorporating the role of implicit bias in falls prevention.  Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider number 12205 for 1 contact hours.This meeting has been approved for 1 contact hour of Continuing Education Credit toward fulfillment of the requirements of ASHRM designations of FASHRM (Fellow) and DFASHRM (Distinguished Fellow) and towards CPHRM renewal.
